Rowan Blanchard, the actress behind the character Riley on Girl Meets World, the sequel show to Boy Meets World, has revealed that she identifies as queer on Twitter.
It all started with one tweet where Rowan decided to share that she wants to continue “just existing” by not putting a label on sexuality.

She then clarified with a fan, saying she identifies as queer. Queer is used as an umbrella term, as described by PFLAG: “It includes anyone who a) wants to identify as queer and b) who feels somehow outside of the societal norms in regards to gender or sexuality.”
Rowan shared these thoughts with her fans just one day after her essay for Rookie Mag, titled Sorry, Not Sorry, was released.
